~$299approx. list price
300 W running, 600 W surge — below the lightest tier on this ladder.
Best forCPAP users, campers and anyone who wants a small, light backup for a modem, phones and a laptop through a short outage.
Jackery's smallest current Explorer is sold as a CPAP and phone backup rather than a home-backup box. It swapped the old model's lithium-ion cells for LiFePO4, rated 4,000 cycles to 70%, and the handle-forward body weighs 8.2 pounds. The 300W inverter covers a CPAP, a laptop, a few LEDs or a modem and router for most of a night. It will not run a refrigerator for long, and owners say it will trip on a toaster or hair dryer. The 100W USB-C port works for charging laptops in either direction, and it charges from the wall in about two hours, though Jackery publishes no noise figure and fan reports vary. At the same $299 the EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus offers a 600W inverter, and the $280 Bluetti Elite 30 V2 does too, so the Jackery's draw is the brand and the lighter body rather than the output. The older 300 and 300D are still listed beside it.
