3,600 W running, 7,000 W surge — sustains the fridge, freezer and the essentials tier and everything below it.
Best forHomeowners who want a 3 kWh station with a 30 A RV outlet that can run a refrigerator, well pump and furnace without paying for a wall battery.
The Mega 3 is the big OUPES: 3,072 Wh of LiFePO4, a 3,600 W inverter with a 7,000 W surge, five 20 A outlets plus a TT-30R, and expansion to 15.36 kWh with up to six B2 packs. It is roughly the middle of the portable class between a 2 kWh camping unit and a whole-home battery, with a built-in trolley wheel and handle because it weighs 83.3 lb. Recharge is 1,800 W from AC or 3,900 W with AC and solar together, which OUPES quotes as about an hour to full. The UPS function is limited to 2,200 W with under 20 ms changeover, so the 3,600 W figure applies to normal operation and not seamless backup. The TT-30R takes an RV cord but is 120 V only, so it does not feed a 240 V transfer switch. OUPES shows $2,299 struck through and charges $1,199. The negatives are the same as the brand's: a small US service network, no published noise number, and less outage history than EcoFlow or Bluetti.
