  4. 7,500 WWell pump or a small central AC

6,000 W running, 9,000 W surge — sustains the furnace blower, sump pump or a window AC tier and everything below it.

Best forHomeowners who want a plug-in whole-home essentials backup with 240V and who will not wire a standby generator.

The original F3800 is the unit that made owners start saying the words whole-house about a rolling box. 3,840Wh with 6,000W continuous and 9,000W surge in a single unit, with both 120V and 240V on board: six 20A outlets, an L14-30 and a 14-50, so it feeds a transfer switch or inlet box without a hub. It scales with six BP3800 expansion batteries on one unit (about 27kWh) and pairs with a second F3800 for 12kW. At 132 pounds on wheels it is a two-person lift on stairs. The sheer output and the AC-coupling support for existing solar win people over; the weight, expansion-battery price, fan noise under heavy load (Anker publishes no figure) and the solar-input limit that earlier firmware imposed come up as complaints. It is the older sibling of the F3800 Plus, which adds the generator-bypass and a higher solar input.
