  1. 800 WLights, phones, router, a CPAP
  2. 2,200 WFridge, freezer and the essentials
  3. 4,000 WFurnace blower, sump pump or a window AC
  4. 7,500 WWell pump or a small central AC
  5. 18,000 WWhole home with central air

3,200 W running, 4,000 W surge — sustains the fridge, freezer and the essentials tier and everything below it.

Best forCamp and short-outage users who want a dual fuel 3 kW inverter with CO shutdown and are willing to pay more than WEN charges.

The dual fuel Whisper Hybrid, with electric start and Firman's CO Alert sensor. On gasoline it makes 3,200 running and 4,000 starting watts, and on propane 3,000 and 3,750, which covers a fridge, a furnace blower, lights and most RV air conditioners on a soft start. Quiet running at light load, the CO alert that shuts the engine down when carbon monoxide rises, and having a second fuel when gas lines are long are the points in its favor. Complaints are price, since at $1,280 it costs more than a WEN DF480iX with more watts, and weight: Firman lists 90 lbs, and some retailers list up to 111. The 58 dB is a quarter-load figure, and owners find it louder under load. The TT-30R is a 120V outlet that does not feed a transfer switch. It carries a 3-year warranty on new units, and service comes from Arizona.
