  1. 800 WLights, phones, router, a CPAP
  2. 2,200 WFridge, freezer and the essentials
  3. 4,000 WFurnace blower, sump pump or a window AC
  4. 7,500 WWell pump or a small central AC
  5. 18,000 WWhole home with central air

2,500 W running, 5,400 W surge — sustains the fridge, freezer and the essentials tier and everything below it.

Best forHomeowners who want a 2 kWh station with a 30 A RV outlet with long warranty at a price well below EcoFlow and Bluetti.

The Mega 2 pairs 2,048 Wh of LiFePO4 with a 2,500 W inverter that surges to 5,400 W, and unlike most stations at this price it includes a TT-30R outlet for an RV cord; it is 120 V only, so a 240 V transfer-switch inlet is out. It expands to 10.24 kWh with up to four B2 packs, and AC input is 1,600 W fast or 3,700 W when combined with solar, which is how OUPES gets its 0.6-hour full-charge claim. The UPS changeover is specified under 20 ms, slower than the 10 ms figure EcoFlow quotes. At 48.5 lb it is portable but not light; the case is plain black with an LCD, and the fan shows up on the side. The warranty is the headline: five years by default and a sixth if you register. OUPES shows $1,499 struck through and charges $729. The tradeoffs are a small US service footprint, no published noise number, and a newer brand with less outage history than EcoFlow or Bluetti.
